I was born in Calgary, Alberta and grew up on Vancouver Island. After graduating from Capilano University with a degree in Early Childhood Education and having 4 children of my own (2 of which are twins) and I have a GORGEOUS grandchild. I began my company, Rise & Play Preschool and Jr. Kindergarten. During that time I raised over 600 - 3 & 4 year olds, took further courses like sign language and child phycology, and taught my parents consistency, stability, behavioural issues , and child independence. Knowing the 'tricks of the trade', I love to help parents answer their 101 questions about their children.

I volunteer my time, Supporting ALL Children & fundraising for BC Children's Hospital. Through our Clinic (little doctors volunteers give 'check-ups' for a donation) as well as our Online Auction 100% of all money goes to Sick Children. Each year our goal is to try to raise $5,000!
