It's always a great day when you get to explore the outdoors with kids. The pumpkin patch is absolutely gorgeous this time of year. Linus, from the classic "It's the Great pumpkin, Charlie Brown,"sat waiting in the pumpkin patch for the, Great Pumpkin, who never did arrive. I didn't have any time to sit, there was way too much to see and do. There is nothing better than visiting fields filled with thousands round orange gourds, It's the best.

On my visited to the farm, the colours were breath taking, the air was crisp and fresh and the... food was delicious!! Harvest season is a great way to enjoy the fall. Have you ever visited Aldor's Acres? You can start your day with a hayride, pick your own pumpkin or how about a hands on farm that your kids will love.., don't forget to visit the huge white oxen's, Zorro and Zeldo.

Great fun!! Open daily 9 - 5 from Sunday, September 30, 2012 until Wednesday, October 31, 2012. The cost is $7.00 per person (anyone of walking age) or $30.00 per family (mother, father, and their own children). I think I'll go visit Aldor's pumpkin patch. What are you doing this weekend?
