The 3rd annual A Night of Miracles Gala will be taking place on Saturday, October 22, 2011
at the Vancouver Marriott Pinnacle Downtown Hotel.
This exclusive black-tie charity gala will be a celebration of South Asian culture, acknowledging the community’s tremendous generosity and desire to improve child health care in BC. Funds this year will be designated to build a new hospital, which broke ground April 4th, 2011. With a goal of $200 million, it is an opportunity to create a legacy for BC’s children and for children around the world.
The South Asian community has raised more than $3 million in support of child health care over the past decade, helping to fund programs, training, and equipment purchases at BC Children’s Hospital, Sunny Hill Health Centre for Children and the Child & Family Research Institute. The sold out event raised over $300,000 and brought together 400 attendees. Proceeds from last year’s event funded the purchase of a new vivid 7 Ultrasound unit for the Cardiology Department as well as supporting the campaign to build the new hospital. Great job!
