Off To School I Go..

It's time to head to the schools and find out where the BC Children Hospital Wee Care can set up the Clinic. I will keep you posted on where I will be teaching the children and where the children will hold their clinics.  It will be so exciting.

I can't wait to meet the new Doctors this year.  The children are usually very excited to take part with the Wee Care Clinic, dressing up as Doctors and handing out suckers to the kids and parents who visit them.

Our Doctors

Kids are so cute!!  These children from Garibaldi Highlands School had a great evening pretending to be Doctors at the, Wee Care Clinic Fun Fair. For a small donation the kids would give you a check-up. 

How cute is this.... This little doctor made sure that the heart beat was healthy and the other Doctor confirmed it. Look at the smile on this patients face, he is so happy to hear good news from the Doctors.

A very busy Mom came in to the clinic for a check-up with her twins. These 2 Doctors rushed into action and had everything in control. Very quick service and the heart rate is GOOD!!  So cute.

Interest:Wee' find our M.D.'s at several school! The M.D. positions are for children ages 3 -6 years. The children volunteer their medical services to the Wee Care Clinic, their goal is to receive donations from the public to help sick children. 100% of the donations goes toward BC Children's Hospital Foundation. In 2012 the children from Garibaldi Highlands School participated in the Wee Care Clinic and they did a fabulous job at treating their patients.  Thank you Garibaldi Highland Doctors for all your hard work. Meet the M.D.

Name: Catarina

Age: 6 Years Old

Interest: Meet one of our M.D.'s, her name is 

Catarina! Found at Rise and Play Preschool. 

Catarina started this position at the age of 3. 

Catarina continued the medical position at 

the Wee Care Clinic in 2012 and was last seen

working as an M.D. at the Garibaldi Highlands

School. Catarina participated at the 2010, BC

Children's Hospital Miracle Weekend, where

she helped earn $2357.32 in just 5 hours.

Way to go Catarina and thank you!

These days, you can find this M.D. at her home with her family making, "to do lists" for 
the family.  Mom, seems to be very busy with her list of cooking meals, washing floors and 
cleaning house, while Catarina's list consists of watching T.V., making a mess and playing 
games on the computer. She is a very busy M.D.  Thank you Catarina for all you have done 
in the past for sick Children.

Meet the M.D.

Name: Grady

Age: 6 Years Old

Interest: 

Meet one of our M.D.'s, his name is Grady! Found at Rise and Play Preschool. Grady started this position at the age of 3. Grady continued the medical position at the Wee Care Clinic in 2012 and was last seen working as an M.D. at Garibaldi Highlands School.  Grady had a lot of school classmate patients visit him at the clinic, were he gave positive diagnosis. Grady's best friend in class was Ethan Millar.


These days, you can find this M.D. at his home with his family or hanging out at his beach front cabin. What a wonderful Doctor he was thank you for all your help Grady!

Meet Our M.D.

Name: Carter

Age: 5 Years Old

Interest: Lego

Meet one of our M.D.'s, his name is Carter! Found at Rise and Play Preschool, this Doctor has been with us for quite a few years. Although he was only 3 when he took on the medical position at the Wee Care Clinic, he was exceptional! He is adventurous and his playful demeanour brought in several of his faithful patients, and his many relatives too. 

We asked our M.D., who his best friend was and what he liked to do on his time off? He said, “Charlotte was his best friend, he loves to colour and play with lego.” These days, you can find this MD at the pool, with his little brother who is also an M.D. or Carter can be found in front of mommies camera.  Thanks for all your help Carter!

Name: Phoenix

Age: 5 Years Old

Interest: Transformers

Meet one of our M.D.'s, his name is Phoenix! Found at Rise and Play Preschool, this Doctor has many interests. Phoenix started this position at the age of 3. Phoenix continued with the medical position at the Wee Care Clinic until he was 5. He is very adventurous and his playful demeanor brings him many patients. While at the Clinic, we asked Phoenix what his favorite treat was? He said, “today...it's suckers, but I have to wait until I go home before I get one.” 

These days, you can find this M.D. at his home with his family or hanging out with one of his many best friends. Thanks for all your help Phoenix!

Our M.D: See you at Walmart

See you Friday at Walmart 10:00AM - 1:00PM

We hope to see you at Walmart this Friday. The Wee Care Clinic is fundraising for 2 year old Theo Lazaridis. 

On December 20th. 2011, two year old Theo- the bright-eyed son of Laura Tasso, and little brother to his sister Eden.., was diagnosed with Leukemia. "Wee" want you to help us, help Theo and his family through their journey of conquering this terrible cancer.

Come out and get your check-up from some of these wonderful Doctors'. The Wee Care Doctors' want to make sure that you are healthy and ready to conquer your day.  Clinic open at 10:00 AM, see you there.

Our M.D's: Children Helping Children

Children LOVE to help...are you willing to help?

Wee Care will be opening a Clinic at Walmart on March 2, 2012 From 10:00 until 1:00PM. This Fundraiser is for Theo Lararidis and his family. Please call or visit our email address or Facebook us and let us know if your child would like to be a doctor this day. " Wee Care Clinic "   Live, Love and Give 

  

Children are the best at playing, but Theo is not playing, Theo was diagnosed with leukemia. For the next 6 months, the Lazaridis family will be relocated from their home in Squamish to BC Children's Hospital in Vancouver to receive Theo’s treatment.
