Her daughter is exploring the HP Canada Brain Training Challenge. Have you heard of it? There are games to improve science knowledge, teamwork and artistic skills by playing educational games that are fun and engaging. There are lots of free apps. I recently came across this wonderful site that show's children how to cook and to cook heathy. The children can learn from Lori Hinze, "Welcome to Cook, Learn, Grow!"  

Lori Hinze. Is a teacher and a chef, she help kids understand food literacy through hands-on cooking classes.  Her mission is to lead people to positive and healthy relationships with food through education while creating wholesome, delicious experiences.

The website is a free resource of Online Pictorial Cooking lessons for kids who love to cook, eat and share with their family, friends and the world.  It is the perfect place to find free cooking lessons, ideas, recipes, contests a cooking show & tell. Wee Care Followers.. Some BUNNY loves you!

Easter Sunday will be celebrated on March 31st for most families. You can't have Easter without an Easter egg hunt.  It is so much fun to watch kid's eyes light up and to see them all scatter to search for as many candies as they can. I usually start with a couple of candies places below their bed and then a trail of candy heading out their bedroom door, that's just to get them all worked up. :)

Choose a colour for each child so they will know what eggs are theirs and at the end of the search, we always throw all the candy into a large bowl and dived it out, ( or not) it's up to you and your..

Kid Cool: Baby Hammocks

When I think of sleep or relaxation, I think of a place where there's are no technology, a place where I have a great book with my favourite blanket and a super comfy couch.  Last year my daughter bought me a beautiful hammock from Mexico for my yard, and now I love to swing in my hammock with a cup of warm coffee on a chilly sunny afternoon, this is my new place to relax and its the best!!

Yeah, we get to celebrate the extra hour … and then we get to complain about how it gets darker earlier. Personally, I prefer March; sure, we lose an hour, but I love ending a workday with daylight.

Kid Cool: Nautical: Part 1

So, I've got this nautical event coming up called Sail Past; where boaters sail past their Commodore (like a Captain of the Yacht Club) in full salute and acknowledge his great work and the beginning of the boating season.
