Kids Adventures: Whats Happening on the Long weekend?

Here's my.., home made Ginger Ale Recipe. Check out what happening in Squamish (Click on Read More at the bottom of the page) while sipping on a glass of ginger ale.Ingredients are so simple..,

ginger, lime, corn syrup, 
club soda, ice.
4 table spoons ginger
1 lime completely grind
1/3 cup corn syrup
4 cups soda water
ice and lime wedges
Here's how..,
Grind lime and ginger, place into a juice jug.  Squeeze all of the juice of the lime into the juice jug. Add corn syrup and stir well. Add soda water, stir gently and add ice. Slice the squeezed lime into wedges and put into the ginger ale and sever. Delicious. Makes 4 serving. Feel free to tweak this drink to your satisfaction.  Have a wonderful long weekend. Come out and cheer on your favourite team as they push a decorated hospital gurney down Cleveland Avenue from Pemberton Avenue to Victoria Avenue. It is a race with fun and challenging obstacles such as setting a choker, eating a sundae, sawing a log and doing the hula-hoop! Prizes for the fastest teams in each division (Men’s, Women’s & Mixed) as well as for best costumes.
