Tot Talk: Bed Time

We all know that most people that don't get enough sleep. For me, if I don't get enough sleep I become totally irrational. kids are like sponges they take in so much information all day long and even when they sleep! Kids need to be recharged and sleep is the best way to energize your child.

A child's brain consolidates memory and learning during sleep and kids who don't get enough sleep
are likely to act out, won't be able to think clearly and are very emotional. Children who get the recommended hours (12 to 14  a day - including naps) of sleep will be happier and better at resolving their issues.

Does your child wake up in the morning at the same time, without your help and is your child happy and alert? Happy children are those children who have good sleep patterns. Regular bedtimes and nap-times make for healthy children. For kids sake.., give your child that extra sleep and your child will give you smiles and a pleasant disposition all day. What time does your child go to bed and does he/she have one nap or two?
I don't know who wrote this, but I though it was funny.., Insomnia is very common."Try not to lose any sleep over it."

  1. My child needs lots of sleep. I put her down for 2 naps and she goes to bed in the evenings at 7 PM. She is 3 years old and is a very happy little girl and so is mommy.

    1. Hi Rose, Thank you for your comment. There is nothing more precious than watching a sleeping child. I'm sure every mom and dad thinks that there is no child as precious as their own. Good sleep makes for a well balanced and happy child. I'm happy to hear that your little girl.., is a exactly that.
