Something Yummy for the Kids... (and mom)

For all those out there who struggle, like me, to figure out what to make for dinner. I found the best food blog out there. Its called...

Cookies:
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. ground cardamon
1 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup granulated white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter (1 stick), softened
1 large egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup of pure pumpkin puree (canned or homemade)
2 Tbsp. pumpkin seeds (optional)

Cream Cheese Frosting:
1/4 cups butter, softened
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup sifted powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
