Tot Talk: Wee Care Clinic is fundraising for 2 year old Theo

On December 20th, 2011, 2-year old Theo Lazaridis - bright-eyed son of Laura and Tasso, and little brother to big sister Eden.., was diagnosed with leukemia. This page was created as a way to help support Theo and his family, organize fundraising events, and keep the Lazaridis family in our thoughts. For the next 6 months, the Lazaridis family will be relocated from their home in Squamish to BC Children's Hospital in Vancouver to receive Theo’s treatment. This will undoubtedly cause both emotional and financial strain to the family. As a group, lets do whatever we can to support them as they start the journey to beating Theo’s cancer.
Avid outdoor enthusiasts, the family enjoys skiing, rock climbing, hiking, camping and playing Ultimate in the Sea-to-Sky corridor. Long time locals in both Whistler and Squamish, they are will known to many, and have friends from Pemberton to Vancouver and beyond. We have planned fundraising events for both Squamish and Whistler in the very near future, but the family could use your help now.  Both Laura and Tasso have taken time off work (bookkeeper and ski patroller, respectively) to be together as a family during this ordeal. Monetary donations to support them are gratefully accepted and can be made out to either Laura or Tasso Laszaridis and mailed to P.O. Box 2696, Garibaldi Highlands, BC, V0N 1T0 Canada. Donations of gas cards, phone cards, groceries, home cooked meals and more are also appreciated. Please contact us if you have any questions.
