D.I.Y Silly Puddy

Remember when you used to play with silly puddy for hours on end? Well the secrets out with this D.I.Y. These 2 home made recipes are so simple and there are only 2-3 ingredients in each, how cool is that!

1. Zip Lock Bags
       Food Colouring
8 ounce bottle of Elmer's Glue
       1 teaspoon Borax
       Water

Pour 8 ounce glue into a bowl, fill the glue container with warm water and shake. Pour warm glue water mixture into the bowl and mix well. Add in food colouring of your choice. Measure 1/2 a cup of warm water into plastic cup and add a teaspoon of borax, stir solution. While stirring the glue solution, slowly start adding the Borax. Now start to stir using your hands. Sealed bags when not in use.

2. Zip Lock Bags
      2 parts Elmer's glue
      1 part liquid starch

Gradually mix the starch into the glue. More starch may be added if the mixture seems too sticky. Food colouring may be added if desired. Cover and refrigerate the putty when not in use. This putty can be pulled, twisted or cut with scissors. Enjoy a great day with your little scientists!
