D.I.Y: Bird Count Book

Children love to watch, feed and chase the birds. This particular beach had pigeons, seagulls, ducks and herons. Here is a fun way to give kids more knowledge about birds. Try doing a back yard bird count. By doing a bird count your child will see what birds come back each season.

Here is what you will need for your Bird Count Book...., any kind of paper - for writing on, and..,
construction paper - for the cover, stickers, crayons or felt pens, a stapler and a creative imagination...

Fold construction paper in half, then fold the writing paper in half and place it inside the construction paper. Staple these papers together. Now for the fun..., decorate.

When you're outside, search for birds and document how many you find.  I took pictures of all the birds we found and then when we returned home, we developed our photo's and put them into our book. This was a great way to spend our day together.  Some people are very adamant about NOT feeding birds.., are you comfortable feeding birds at the park? I'd love to know your thoughts on this topic.
Watch for our Auction,  you won't want to miss out on a BID
